Deep Insert Punches are core bending tools independently developed by Fierte, a professional enterprise dedicated to sheet metal processing equipment. Designed for high-precision hole-forming and bending operations in press brakes, this product adopts premium steel materials and advanced heat treatment technology to meet the strict requirements of industrial manufacturing for tool durability and precision. As a key component in sheet metal processing lines, Deep Insert Punches effectively solve the problem of low efficiency in traditional punching processes and are widely recognized by manufacturers in automotive parts, household appliances, and precision equipment industries.
Deep Insert Punches have optimized dimensional parameters to ensure compatibility with most press brakes. Key dimensions include: 13mm tool thickness, 7mm groove depth for material positioning, 30mm effective working length, 28mm installation height, C-type positioning slot for quick calibration, H-type reinforcement structure to prevent deformation, -Z direction marking for accurate assembly, and 58mm total length. These standardized dimensions not only simplify the installation process but also ensure consistent punching accuracy across different batches of products.
To adapt to different working environments, Deep Insert Punches offer three surface treatment options:
Blackening: Enhances corrosion resistance, suitable for humid workshops.
Sandblasting: Reduces surface friction, preventing material adhesion during punching.
Sandblasting + blackening: Combines the advantages of the two treatments, ideal for high-frequency heavy-load operations.
For transportation protection, the product is packaged in a Wooden Box with EPE foam lining, which effectively avoids collision damage during long-distance shipping.
Deep Insert Punches are manufactured using three high-strength steels: 42CrMo4, 42CrMo, and C45. Among them, 42CrMo4 has excellent fatigue resistance and impact toughness, making it suitable for high-frequency punching operations; C45 steel has high hardness after heat treatment, ensuring the tool’s wear resistance; 42CrMo balances strength and ductility, reducing the risk of tool breakage.
The product undergoes whole body heat treatment with a hardness reaching HRC48-50, which is 20% higher than the industry average (HRC40-45). In structural design, the tool’s stress concentration areas (such as the punch nose) are optimized with arc transitions, reducing local wear caused by excessive pressure. Additionally, the integrated forging process is adopted to eliminate internal defects in the material, extending the tool’s service life by more than 50%.
Deep Insert Punches support seamless matching with multiple mainstream press brake models, including:
Amada/Promecam: Suitable for Amada’s V-series press brakes, ensuring high-precision bending.
LVD type: Compatible with LVD’s PPEB series, adapting to large-format sheet metal processing.
American standard type: Meets the specifications of U.S.-made press brakes, such as Cincinnati.
Gasparini type: Matches Gasparini’s EKO series, suitable for flexible production lines.
Each set of Deep Insert Punches is equipped with standard accessories: positioning pins (for quick alignment), wear-resistant gaskets (reducing installation gaps), and a maintenance manual (guiding daily care). These components eliminate the need for additional purchases, enabling customers to start production immediately after receiving the product.
The combination of 42CrMo4 steel and whole body heat treatment ensures that the tool can withstand 100,000+ punching cycles without obvious wear.i Sgnificantly reducing the frequency of tool replacement and production downtime.
After precision grinding, the surface roughness of Deep Insert Punches is Ra≤0.8μm, and the bending accuracy reaches ±0.01mm. Meeting the processing requirements of high-precision parts such as medical device components.
Fierte’s in-house R&D team can design special Deep Insert Punches according to customers’ drawings or sample requirements, such as non-standard dimensions, special surface treatments, and customized installation interfaces, solving the pain points of non-standard sheet metal processing.
Compared with imported similar products, Deep Insert Punches have a 30% lower price while maintaining the same quality. The long service life and low maintenance cost further reduce the overall production cost for customers.

The lead time is 18-20 days after receiving the deposit. For urgent orders, we can adjust the production schedule to shorten the delivery time to 15 days (subject to additional confirmation).
We support T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) and Western Union. For long-term cooperative customers, we can provide a 30% deposit + 70% balance payment term after shipment.
Local heat treatment may cause uneven hardness of the tool, leading to deformation or breakage during use. Whole body heat treatment ensures uniform hardness of the entire tool, improving its stability and service life.
Choose Blackening if the workshop is humid (to prevent rust).
Choose Sandblasting if processing sticky materials (such as aluminum alloy) to avoid material adhesion.
Choose Sandblasting + blackening for high-frequency heavy-load operations (to balance corrosion resistance and wear resistance).
Yes. We offer a 12-month warranty. If the tool is damaged due to quality issues (excluding man-made damage), we will provide free replacement. Additionally, our technical team provides 24/7 online support to solve usage problems.
